(March, 2006) —  Love Communications was recognized with five Silver Addy Awards, including honors for Real Salt Lake, Colosimo's Sausage, the Utah Department of Health and Alpine Confections. The Addys are awarded by the Utah Advertising Federation.

Love Communications actually won two separate awards for its work on behalf of Real Salt Lake, Utah's second-year Major League Soccer franchise. The first award came in the Sales Presentation Category, produced by Love Communications in conjunction with Motive Films.

Love Communications' Preston Wood, Rich Love and Tom Love were among those with individual credits.
And Love Communications also earned a Silver Addy for its work on Real Salt Lake's 2005 general branding TV campaign, which were produced in conjunction with Motive Films and overseen by Preston Wood, Rich Love and Tom Love.

Love Communications won another Silver Addy for a relatively new client, Colosimo's Sausage, which was honored in the "Out of Home" category for its popular billboards. The campaign, which launched in late 2005, features Love's newly designed Colosimo's logo with the headlines, "The Sausage Others Envy," "Other's Just Don't Measure Up," and "Even Our Wurst Is The Best." The agency's Preston Wood, Rich Love, Bret Ivory and Maggie Fitzpatrick were among those credited in this category.

And the agency's Preston Wood and Craig Lee, along with illustrator Curtis Parker, were acknowledged in the Single Illustration category for their comical graphic depiction of a lab rat, part of Love Communications' ongoing efforts on behalf of the Utah Department of Health's Anti-Smoking campaign ("The Truth" advertising).

Love Communications' final Silver Addy came in the category of Single Unit Packaging Design, where its work for Alpine Confections (specifically, Fanny Farmer Candies) was recognized. The agency's Preston Wood and Katie Bradley received individual credits.

"To have your work recognized by some of the ad industry's greatest people is always an honor," said Mr. Wood, partner and creative director of Love Communications. "And our work for these clients, in particular, really illustrates the wide range of successful organizations we're proud to be associated with."
