A week of campaign launches

This week was a busy one at Love Communications, as we oversaw the official campaign launches for two county-wide races: Salt Lake County District Attorney Sim Gill and Salt Lake County Sheriff Jim Winder.
Love worked on both men’s campaigns four years ago, and we’re proud to do so again in 2014. District Attorney Gill and Sheriff Winder are true public servants who serve with integrity, accountability and transparency.
Surrounded by supporters, Gill launched his re-election campaign on Tuesday, March 18, from the steps of the Scott M. Matheson Courthouse in downtown Salt Lake City.
“Four years ago, I stood outside, on a day much like today, and I made you a promise to restore the public trust and return integrity to the District Attorney’s office,” Gill said. “Today, I stand before you to announce my intention to seek re-election to serve for another four years and continue the good and important work that we’ve only just begun.”
As Gill was speaking, Love’s interactive team was back at the office pressing “Go” on the District Attorney’s
website.
The following day, the Love team was at it again, this time at the Salt Lake County Metro Jail facility in South Salt Lake. There, Sheriff Winder revealed his 2014 campaign theme – “Winder’s Working” – and outlined his top campaign priorities as well as his achievements from the previous four years.
